Beauty of cross river state

Cross river is one of the states that makeup the republic of Nigerian in West Africa. It is located at the South south region of the nation,that is the Niger Delta belt. It was named after the several rivers that crosses the state, it's more of a coastal state.

The state was the first capital city of Nigeria after independence. It was created by the former head of state Yakubu Gowon on 27th May 1967. It consist of 18 local government areas with diversity of languages. The state is bless with diversity of ethnic groups with different languages. History made us to know that majority of the population of cross river were immigrants from Cameroon cause still today french one of the major languages of the cross river's.

The capital of the state is Calabar,

it share border with Benue state at the North,with Aba and Ebonyi at the West, with Cameron at the East and with Akwa Ibom state at the South. It total population is approximately 4million people.Cross river is bless with fertile soil,large water bodies,palm fruits, crude oil,etc.

The geographical setting is amazing and dumbfounding. High hills,waterfalls,thick Forest with beautiful arrangement of trees.
